Assisting in the collection of duties and taxes.
Processing the release of goods.
Reviewing and processing licensing applications for industries, warehousing, excise, and taxation.
Inspecting passengers and vehicles entering or leaving Malaysia.
Assisting in anti-smuggling enforcement operations, including patrols, roadblocks, raids, and surveillance.
Witnessing the destruction of residual raw materials.
Skills
Basic
Ability to communicate effectively in languages other than Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to provide prompt customer service.
Skills in using computers to perform tasks.
Specific
Basic knowledge in operating receipt machines.
In-depth knowledge of operational work procedures.
Knowledge in the care and handling of drug detection dogs.
Knowledge of Treasury Instructions, Financial Standing Orders and related circulars.
Skills in handling firearms.
Skills in maintaining and operating communication devices.
Skills in using communication equipment.
Understanding of Acts, Orders, Regulations and departmental instructions related to duties.
Understanding of the Financial Procedure Act and Treasury Instructions.
