Investigation Assistant Officer Grade P5 conducts investigations into cases of corruption and abuse of power involving the economic interests and revenue of the nation.
Tasks
Conducting case investigations under the APR 1997 and the AMLATFA 2001, including handling complaints, interviewing complainants, conducting investigation operations, searches, seizures, recording witness statements, and handling OTT.
Carrying out money trail analysis, asset tracing, review of financial documents, and accounting, engineering, and computer forensics to detect corruption.
Preparing investigation papers, case facts, summaries of evidence, prosecution briefs, and carries out the arrest, interrogation, and release of OTT.

Conducting inspections and consultations on policies, laws, systems, and procedures of government departments, and preparing Inspection and Monitoring Reports.
Providing anti-corruption prevention advisory services to government departments and internal clients, and assisting Consulting Officers in system improvement initiatives.
Preparing budget estimates for anti-corruption prevention programmes at the divisional level.
Coordinating and implementing training programmes, forensic courses, facilitation, training research, as well as cooperation and visit arrangements domestically and internationally.
Assisting in the management of physical, document, ICT, and personal security, and performs other duties as directed by senior officers, including Parliamentary assignments.
