Producer Grade B7 (Stage Play Director) responsible for performing duties in PENTARAMA performances professionally, planning, implementing, and preparing reports related to performances in accordance with departmental requirements, as well as managing performance activities, including efficiently and effectively preparing performance formats and scripts, and providing guidance and mentorship to all officers in the Talent and Arts team at the PENTARAMA Branch.
Tasks
Planning the PENTARAMA performance formats to ensure compliance with departmental standards, including annual and monthly performance formats.
Ensuring that performance planning is implemented according to the established formats.
Preparing monthly and annual reports on the overall implementation of programmes conducted.
Planning and preparing script programmes for the PENTARAMA Branch throughout the year.
Developing strategies and reviewing performance script adaptations to ensure they meet departmental requirements.
Planning and reviewing current and relevant messages to be incorporated into performance scripts.
Planning financial allocations (annual budget) required for each PENTARAMA performance production.
Coordinating and monitoring the performance and work carried out by all officers in the Talent and Arts Group.
Coordinating programmes for personal development, motivation, counselling, and career planning for all officers in the Talent and Arts Group.
Planning, supervising, and conducting studies on the effectiveness of performances.
Skills
Basic
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in Bahasa Melayu and English.
Ability to provide professional opinions, offer advisory services, and present arguments effectively.
High level of creativity and awareness of current entertainment needs.
Specific
Ability to analyse messages or government policies and translate them into stage performances.
Ability to plan and produce high-quality reports.
Broad knowledge in the local entertainment arts field.
