Museum Assistant Grade S1 responsible for the safety and cleanliness of museum collections and exhibition galleries, assisting with the collection of research collections (history, culture and nature) as well as the preparation of exhibitions, archaeological excavations, conservation and so on.
Tasks
Assisting with field and library research to obtain data and information related to studies.

Assisting in preparing materials for researchers and students requiring research support, thesis preparation, or photography sessions.
Responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and arrangement of materials displayed in the exhibition hall.
Responsible for the storage, organisation, safety, and cleanliness of the departmental collection repository.
Responsible for the conservation of the departmental collection.
Skills
Basic
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Bahasa Melayu and English.
Computer skills.
Specific
Knowledge in material culture and ability to assess artefacts in terms of authenticity and historical value.
