Community Service Worker provides support and assistance to individuals, families, and communities to enhance their social well-being and quality of life. They assess client needs, develop and implement care or support plans, and connect vulnerable groups including the elderly, disabled, low-income families, and at-risk youth with relevant social services such as housing, healthcare, employment, education, and legal aid. Tasks

Provide counselling, emotional support, and crisis intervention to clients and their families using recognised techniques.
Assist clients in accessing government aid, social services, healthcare, education, and employment opportunities through effective coordination with relevant agencies.
Facilitate communication and coordination between clients, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), government agencies, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders.
Organise workshops, seminars, support groups, and awareness campaigns to educate and engage communities.
Monitor client progress, evaluate program effectiveness, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Advocate for client rights, social inclusion, and accessibility improvements in public and private sectors.
Support client reintegration and life skills development, including workshops and programs for individuals with disabilities or special needs.
