Land Administration Assistant/Assistant Land Administrator Grade NT5 responsible for carrying out land administration duties at the implementing group level in relation to land application matters, land investigations, land transactions, land revenue, land enforcement, and other land-related duties as determined from time to time.
Tasks
Managing correspondence, registration, and processing of applications, as well as land investigation dockets.
Updating records of draft titles, registrations, and land titles.
Preparing monthly and annual reports related to applications, investigations, revenue collection, land transactions, and land enforcement.
Monitoring arrears of land tax, issuing reminders, collecting land revenue, and issuing and signing receipts.
Supervising and monitoring the work of Land Office staff, and ensuring the safekeeping and security of title documents and register books.
Preparing reports and carrying out land demarcation (land surveying), as well as survey applications related to land disposal, boundary/parcel subdivision, land amalgamation, and land acquisition.
Carrying out land valuation works, and land acquisition for government projects.
Conducting investigations and enforcement actions to prevent encroachment and breaches of land conditions, and acting as a prosecuting officer.
Witnessing documents under Section 97 of the Land Ordinance Cap 68, and serving as a member of the land tender board.
Assisting in the preparation of memoranda and government meeting papers, and carrying out other duties as directed from time to time.
