Investigation Officer Grade P14 conducts investigations into cases of corruption and abuse of power involving the economic interests and revenue of the nation.

Tasks

Planning, supervising, reviewing, and discussing all investigations under the APR 1997 and AMLATFA 2001, including asset forfeiture, expert reports, wiretaps, account applications, and suspect extraditions.

Planning, supervising, and controlling intelligence, surveillance, projects, information acquisition, and management of sources.

Planning, coordinating, and monitoring public awareness, education, community relations programmes, anti-corruption publications and exhibitions, and evaluating the effectiveness of corruption prevention programmes.

Supervising and evaluates inspections of practices, systems, and procedures of public/private bodies and organisations, and providing advisory services.

Preparing policy papers, strategic planning documents, new directives and guidelines, monitoring the implementation of meetings, Parliamentary matters, and corruption-related surveys.

Managing academy administration, analysing training needs, planning annual training programmes, and coordinating officer/staff participation in domestic and international training.

Liaising with international anti-corruption and enforcement agencies for the identification of witnesses, suspects, and overseas assets, as well as extradition processes.

Monitoring the identification of movable and immovable assets within the country obtained through money laundering activities.

Executing directives from senior officers, manages officer assignments, assists the Unit Head/Branch Head, and serves in Parliament.
