Civil Defence Officer Grade KP9
Civil Defence Officer Grade KP9 responsible for managing administrative and management affairs at the state level including managing the Civil Defence Movement Training.
Tasks
Planning, managing, and conducting courses and training for Civil Defence officers of all grades; team instructors for all divisions, including units and Civil Defence cadets to be established; and special courses for Civil Defence Officers, and courses for other organisations, such as Youth Associations, the Red Crescent, Red Crescent Committees, Rukun Tetangga, firms, government departments, and statutory bodies.
Planning and managing domestic courses appropriate to service requirements.
Studying and developing required training programmes.
Structuring training development programmes related to the skills required by officers within the service scheme.
Studying equipment and operational requirements.
Conducting and monitors development and research activities to meet the knowledge requirements of officers within the service scheme.
Preparing the Annual Work Target (Sasaran Kerja Tahunan, SKT) and the Annual Performance Appraisal Report (Laporan Nilaian Prestasi Tahunan, LNPT) for staff under supervision.
Performing duties during emergencies and disasters, as directed.
Skills
Basic
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Ability to provide professional opinions, advisory services, and present arguments effectively.
Ability to write quality reports.
Specific
Ability in administration, financial regulations, and generally accepted accounting standards.
Ability to analyse financial statements and related reports.
