Cultural Officer Grade B9
Cultural Officer Grade B9 responsible for cultural and arts development programmes. Provides advice, opinions, and inputs to the Minister and the ministry’s senior management regarding cultural and arts development programmes. Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing cultural and theatrical activities at Istana Budaya. Oversees the development of physical infrastructure or cultural facilities, such as the construction of State Cultural Parks and Cultural Villages, providing space and opportunities for cultural and arts activists.
Tasks
Playing a role in coordinating the implementation of all arts activities, encompassing theatre arts, dance arts, music arts, traditional games arts, and visual arts.
Playing a role in coordinating the implementation of all cultural outreach activities such as Merakyatkan Seni Programme (PMS), activities related to values and norms, and activities related to language and literature.
Playing a role in coordinating the implementation of all arts and cultural research activities, encompassing product research, figure research, and audience research.
Playing a role in coordinating the implementation of all arts and cultural conservation activities, encompassing product conservation and figure conservation.
Preparing and updating tourism information, whether printed or verbal, obtained from tourism agencies (networking).
Preparing brochures and provides briefings to promote national cultural programmes/activities.
