Data Scientist collects, manages and analyses large volumes of structured and unstructured data to generate evidence-based insights that support organisational and strategic decision-making. They develop and apply statistical models, analytical methods and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, trends and relationships within complex datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency. They translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations to improve business performance, processes and strategic outcomes across functions.

Tasks

Extract, integrate, clean, transform, and enrich data from multiple sources to build high-quality datasets.

Validate and perform quality control on data to ensure accuracy and usability.

Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support decision-making.

Develop, implement, and deploy predictive models and analytical solutions.

Design and maintain dashboards, visual reports, and documentation of data sources, methodologies, and models.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives.

Apply analytical insights to propose innovative uses of data to improve business outcomes.
