TVET scope is based on recognized occupational standards, with emphasis on practical components, psychomotor skills and exposure to training in the industry

Evaluation Officer Grade W9 provide advice to the Federal Government and its agencies, State Governments, Local Authorities, Statutory Bodies, and corporate organisations in which the Government or State Government has an interest, as well as to any other parties as determined by the Minister, on matters relating to property valuation, development, and management.

Tasks

Carrying out all activities related to the valuation of various properties to ensure that valuations are completed promptly and accurately.

Conducting comparisons, carrying out property visits and inspections, checking ownership and planning details, researching information and analyses data, preparing building plans, location plans, comparisons and other necessary activities, producing quality valuation reports, and reporting within the delegated reporting authority.

Reviewing and approving valuation work as required or as directed.

Examining objections or appeals and reviewing previous valuations.

Conducting studies, research work, and continuously update information.

Managing and attending consultations as well as hearings at the High Court or Tribunal.

Performing duties as an assessor in land acquisition appeal cases in court and attend court as an expert witness.

Preparing reports for departmental publications.
