Vocational Training Officer Grade DV10 responsible for planning, developing, and implementing teaching and learning (T&L) tasks related to vocational skills according to training curricula based on the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) or other relevant standards, encompassing infrastructure development, curriculum development, teaching and learning (T&L), skills development, research and development (R&D), advisory and consultancy services, organisational/institutional management, compliance with procedures, safety and hygiene, and strategic collaboration.
Tasks
Planning and implementing physical development and equipment in accordance with regulations, procedures, and instructions issued from time to time.
Preparing initial drafts for the formulation of training policies, training systems, curriculum, teaching staff development, and assessment systems.
Preparing research proposal papers containing methodologies aligned with the designated field.
Implementing the Quality Assurance System, including monitoring, examinations, and certification, and coordinating benchmarking programmes for assessment systems at national and international levels.
Collecting information/data to support planning of advisory and consultancy activities with industry or other training providers.
Formulating policies and strategies, and planning/managing the administration and development of vocational training infrastructure.
Coordinating and managing student enrolment activities, including advertising, registration, and certification.
Delivering and coordinating training programmes based on expertise and certification requirements.
Collecting and preparing data and drafts relating to training administration, industry and stakeholder engagement, infrastructure and equipment management, delivery systems, information management, and training promotion.
Planning and implementing occupational health and safety management in compliance with regulations, procedures, and legislation.
