Vocational Training Officer Grade DV9 responsible for planning, developing, and implementing teaching and learning (T&L) tasks related to vocational skills according to training curricula based on the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) or other relevant standards, encompassing infrastructure development, curriculum development, teaching and learning (T&L), skills development, research and development (R&D), advisory and consultancy services, organisational/institutional management, compliance with procedures, safety and hygiene, and strategic collaboration.
Tasks
Assisting in planning and implementing physical projects and equipment in accordance with regulations, procedures, and instructions issued from time to time.
Carrying out activities to collect and prepare information and data for the formulation of policies procedures, methods, guidelines for the Training Assessment System, and training requirements.
Assisting in the implementation of the Quality Assurance System, monitoring, examination management, and certification processes.
Conducting benchmarking programs for the assessment system at national and international levels.
Collecting and preparing data for the development of teaching staff, competency assessment, curriculum development, and skills standards.
Preparing and implementing full-time and part-time programmes.
Conducting studies and preparing reports on progress evaluation, training effectiveness, and improvement recommendations.
Coordinating student/trainee Industrial Training programmes and developing strategic collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Developing training curriculum and assessment documents based on NOSS or other established standards.
Collecting and preparing information on the management of infrastructure, equipment, and maintenance requirements.
