Pharmacy Lecturer Grade Grade Khas C responsible for giving lectures, tutorials, conducting research and producing publications, providing clinical services in hospital pharmacies or services in community pharmacies, supervising thesis projects and managing practical work/tutorials, preparing lecture notes/laboratory manuals, conducting examinations, supervising student practical training work, assisting in reviewing/preparing curriculum/syllabus, and engaging in research work and conducting student development efforts.
Tasks
Contributing to research and publications to expand the body of knowledge and supports more effective teaching activities.
Providing teaching as an official or primary staff responsibility, including supervision of final year projects and practical training.
Carrying out teaching according to the assigned timetable and workload, preparing and marks examination scripts, supervising examinations, and advising students on academic matters.
Providing clinical services and pharmaceutical advisory services in hospitals (including dispensing, counselling, Cytotoxic Drug Reconstitution (CDR), Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM), Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), Drug Information Service, and Medication Therapy Adherence Clinic (MTAC)) or in community pharmacies, including dispensing, counselling, and stock management.
Participating in academic leadership, recognition, and distinction activities, including attaining academic awards, evaluating theses, articles, journals for promotion, reviewing papers, participating in academic and professional associations, invited lectures, keynote speeches, appointment as journal editorial board members, and others.
Providing consultancy services within the area of expertise through appointments to resolve specific issues, including paid or unpaid consultancy, and community service projects.
Providing service to the community outside the university, particularly in non-academic fields or activities.
