Medical Officer Grade UD14 responsible for examining and treat patients, managing the treatment and examination of pregnant mothers as well as celebrate the birth of babies, conducting autopsies, preparing reports, carrying out 'on call' duties, and delivering talks.

Tasks

Examining patients, determining diagnoses, and providing treatment to patients diligently.

Providing inpatient care in the ward – conducts ward rounds and manage inpatient cases in the ward.

Managing outpatient clinics.

Performing on-call duties according to the schedule determined each month.

Discussing specific cases and providing specialist opinions to medical officers from other units in related fields of care.

Supervising and carrying out supervisory duties over clinical specialists, medical officers, house officers, and support staff under supervision to achieve established objectives.

Performing major and minor surgeries on patients on an elective basis on designated days.

Guiding clinical specialists and medical officers in performing surgical procedures.

Providing practical training and guidance to medical officers posted to the relevant department.

Selecting and managing projects for research (including QAP/ HAS programmes), and supervising, planning, and conducting QAP studies in the relevant department.
