The role focuses on deterring theft, vandalism, and unauthorised use of vehicles while assisting motorists with parking, safety awareness, and basic directions, and often serving as a visible point of contact within parking areas.
Tasks
Patrol parking areas to monitor vehicles and ensure safety.
Observe vehicle movement and surroundings to detect suspicious or unauthorised activity.
Maintain visible presence to deter theft, vandalism and other security risks.
Guide drivers into parking spaces and assist with parking manoeuvres as needed.
Monitor parked vehicles in the absence of drivers.
Report safety hazards, incidents or suspicious behaviour to relevant security personnel or authorities.
Assist drivers with parking payment processes, including collecting parking charges where applicable.
Carry out minor vehicle-related services, such as cleaning or polishing car windows, when required.
