Tasks
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams to guide assembly work.
Assemble electrical and electronic components, equipment and semiconductor modules according to specifications.
Perform wiring, soldering, bonding and fitting of components using hand tools and relevant equipment.
Operate assembly tools, automated machinery and precision instruments, including microscopes where required.
Inspect completed components and assemblies through visual checks and functional testing to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
Troubleshoot and rectify assembly defects or malfunctions and report equipment or production issues to supervisors.
Maintain assembly equipment and tools and perform basic upkeep.
Adhere to safety, cleanliness and operational procedures, including cleanroom requirements where applicable.
Provide guidance on assembly procedures when required.
Package finished products and prepare them for storage or dispatch.

Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements accurately.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, drawings, and basic electrical or electronic documentation.
