Tasks

Monitor machine performance and output quality throughout production runs.
Inspect films, images, and prints and adjust settings for colour, brightness, contrast, size, and type as required.
Prepare and process exposed film batches in dark rooms or chambers.
Mix, handle, and manage chemicals required for developing and printing photos.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines and equipment.
Record production data and maintain accurate machine logs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality control regulations.

Basic
Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, procedures, and machine manuals.
Awareness of workplace safety, hygiene, and basic chemical handling requirements, and ability to work as part of a team.
Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to operate photographic processing machinery.
Basic numeracy, record-keeping, and computer literacy for data entry and routine machine operations.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in processing tasks.
