Tasks

Operate and monitor heavy mining machinery, including loaders, shearers and conveyors.
Load, transport and transfer extracted materials to designated surface or processing areas.
Monitor mine conditions, including wall and roof stability, air quality and gas levels, and take corrective action where required.
Collect mineral samples for laboratory testing and quality assessment.
Conduct routine inspection, maintenance and minor repair of mining equipment and tools.
Carry out safety checks, report hazards, maintain production records and ensure compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations.
