Product Graders and Testers (Excluding Foods and Beverages) inspect, test, sort, sample and weigh raw materials and goods produced or sold to ensure compliance with quality stand ards, identify defects, wear and deviations from specifications, and grade and classify them according to quality.

Starting Basic Salary

Yearly Increment

Minimum 6% Yearly

Tasks

Inspecting and testing products (excluding food and beverages) at various stages of processing to determine quality and grade.

Examining and verifying product grade.

Conducting inspection to ensure compliance with sanitation, grade, quality and labelling standard.

Obtaining product sample.

Checking and recommending licensing of industry graders.

Issuing hold orders and/or disposal orders.

Testifying in trials and court action as required.

Performing related tasks.
