Tasks

Set up cylinder printing presses according to job specifications.

Calibrate presses by installing plates and adjusting ink flow, pressure, and registration.

Load and feed paper, textiles, metal, or other materials into the press.

Monitor the printing process and make adjustments to ensure quality, colour consistency, and alignment.

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of press components.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical or mechanical issues during printing.

Inspect printed products for defects and make necessary corrections.

Record production data, maintain job logs, and manage materials and supplies.

Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with quality standards.
