Pit Crew member is responsible for performing rapid maintenance and service on racing vehicles during motorsport events to minimise downtime. They carry out tasks such as changing tyres, refuelling, adjusting vehicle settings, and inspecting or repairing components, while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed to return the vehicle to the race as quickly as possible.

Tasks

Change tyres, refuel vehicles, and perform quick repairs during races.

Adjust and tune vehicle components, including motors, brakes, and steering systems.

Inspect, dismantle, and replace defective vehicle parts as required.

Maintain and prepare equipment and tools used during pit stops.

Ensure safety equipment is operational and follow safety procedures.

Assist in vehicle performance testing and adjustments.
