Fishery and Aquaculture Producers plan and carry out the necessary operations to breed and cultivate fish, mussels, oysters and other forms of aquatic life and produce aquatic products such as fishballs, crackers, otak-otak, shells, sea cucumber, dried aquatic products and the cultivation of ornamental fish for sale or delivery on a regular basis to wholesalers, marketing organisations or at markets.

Tasks
Planning and managing the operation of hatcheries taking into consideration environmental and market factors.
Breeding, raising and tending fish and collecting its derivatives.
Monitoring and maintaining water quality to maintain health standards and optimal growth conditions.
Identifying and controlling against toxins and environmental diseases.
Directing and supervising catching, grading and packaging of fish, prawns, oysters and stock of other aquatic life forms.
Preparing fish and other products for shipment.
Cleaning, freezing, pickling or salting aquatic products.
Maintaining ponds, cages, water temperature and equipment.
Delivering or marketing products.
Performing related tasks.
