Livestock and Dairy Producers plan and carry out the necessary operations to breed, raise and tend livestock such as cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, horses, dogs and cats to be used as working, sporting or pet animals as well as to obtain meat, milk, wool, skin and other products for sale or delivery on a regular basis to wholesale buyers, marketing organisations or at markets.

Tasks
Determining the kinds and number of livestock and livestock products to be produced.
Purchasing animals, producing and purchasing fodder and other supplies.
Breeding, raising and tending livestock.
Milking animals.
Shearing coats to obtain wool.
Preparing animals or animal products for the market.
Storing and carrying out some processing of livestock products.
Carrying out the work related to livestock reproduction such as breeding, artificial insemination, and helping with animal births.
Maintaining buildings, machinery and farm equipment.
Delivering or marketing farm products.
Performing related tasks.
