Determining the kinds and amounts of shrub crops to be grown.
Purchasing seeds, fertiliser and other supplies.
Performing operations such as soil preparation, sowing, planting, loosening soil, fertilising and harvesting of crops.
Maintaining the nursery, greenhouse, machinery and other equipment.
Controlling weeds, pests and diseases with the use of herbicides and pesticides.
Promoting and marketing products, arranging the sale, purchase and transport of products and supplies, as well as maintaining and evaluating records of farm activities and transactions.
Training workers on the farm, supervising maintenance duties and health and safety precautions.
Performing related tasks.
