Valuation Assistant Grade W1 responsible for receiving instructions and conducting property and administrative appraisals, conducting training and research, obtaining approvals on values in excess of the authority to report them and other approvals on matters set out above.
Tasks
Assisting in conducting property valuations and ensures the quality of the valuation process, including opening and registering files (if required), taking comparative data, conducting property visits and inspections, verifying ownership and planning details, researching information and analysing data, preparing building plans, location plans, comparisons, and other necessary activities, preparing high-quality valuation reports, and reporting valuations within the delegated reporting authority.
Assisting in carrying out research studies and continuously updating information.
Assisting in preparing reports for departmental publications.
