TVET scope is based on recognized occupational standards, with emphasis on practical components, psychomotor skills and exposure to training in the industry

Land Administrative Assistant Grade NT1 responsible for carrying out land administration duties at the implementing group level in relation to land application matters, land investigations, land transactions, land revenue, land enforcement, and other land-related duties as determined from time to time.

Tasks

Managing correspondence relating to land applications, land investigations, notices of claim/sale, application registrations, investigation dockets, and surveying applications for approved land disposal, boundary/subdivision, consolidation, and land repossession.

Updating and maintaining records of draft grant receipts, Memorial Books, other registry books, Land Tax Collection Cash Books, as well as land title documents and the security of draft grants.

Preparing monthly reports on applications, land investigations, revenue collection, land transactions, enforcement activities, Annual Reports, Revenue Estimates Reports, issues and signs receipts, and assists in land revenue collection.

Monitoring outstanding land taxes, issuing reminder letters, and conducting investigations to prevent encroachment on government land or breaches of land conditions.

Acting as a prosecuting officer in court and prepares affidavits under Sections 425 & 426 of the National Land Code.

Supervising and monitoring the work of Land Office staff, allocating tasks, ensuring proper implementation, serving as a member of the land tender board, and assisting in preparing Ministerial Memorandum papers and Government Meeting papers.

Conducting land valuations, allocating land for applications, stone material permits, mining licences, exploration permits, boundary/subdivision/consolidation of land, land repossession, easements, land trespass, relaxation of land conditions, and government project planning.
