Assistant Industrial Relation Officer Grade S5: JTK Responsible for the implementation of labour policies, administration of labour laws and standards, industrial harmony, and trade union affairs, monitoring and enforcing relevant Acts, and providing labour advisory and educational services to enhance the welfare and interests of the industrial community. JHEKS Responsible for trade union affairs, monitoring and enforcing relevant Acts, providing labour advisory and educational services, and planning and implementing promotional activities to foster healthy trade unions in Malaysia.
Tasks
Conducting statutory inspections of farms and worker accommodations, investigating complaints, and preparing reports with appropriate follow-up actions.
Reviewing and processing labor permits, inspecting worker housing, and verifying approvals for construction plans.
Handling worker/employer claims, preparing Labour Case Notes, monitoring compliance with orders, and maintaining case and appeal registers for the courts.
Preparing investigation papers, conducting prosecutions/compounding, managing court cases, and executing enforcement operations under the Special Enforcement Task Force (PKP), Anti-Human Trafficking Council (MAPO), and the 1 Visit-Policy.
Processing trade union applications, investigating complaints, updating membership information, and conducting industrial talks or dialogues.
Implementing programs, preparing activity reports, and managing documentation, records, assets, budgets, finances, audits, and vehicles.
