Assistant Civil Defence Officer Grade KP5 responsible for administration and planning for the state as a whole in all aspects of civil defense i.e. training and movement. Supervise and coordinate the duties and responsibilities of Training Officers and Heads of Branches.
Tasks
Preparing, managing, planning, and monitoring the operations and implementation of support teams, including Honorary and Affiliate Officers, Civil Defence Student Cadets (SISPA), Civil Defence Emergency Response Team (CDERT), private higher learning institutions/training institute Cadets, and School Civil Defence Cadets.
Preparing, publishing, and managing the printing of documents, guidelines, manuals, and procedures related to support teams.
Managing administrative matters, equipment procurement, supplies, and requirements for support teams.
Managing, coordinating, and supervising the organisation of events, programmes, and activities for support teams.
Managings and supervising records, data, and statistics of support teams nationwide.
Monitoring the implementation of training conducted by the responsible parties.
Ensuring that all actions of the units comply with relevant acts and regulations, and supervising the Training Committee.
Determining the implementation of CDERT activities and is responsible for the discipline of team members.
Skills
Basic
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Inggeris.
Ability to provide professional opinions, advisory services, and present arguments effectively.
Ability to write quality reports.
Specific
Ability in administration, financial regulations, and generally accepted accounting standards.
Ability to implement security management strategies and support the implementation of customer management systems.
Ability to master and apply relevant rules, procedures, and acts.
