Cultural Officer Grade B2
Cultural Officer Grade B2 responsible for cultural and arts development programmes. Provides advice, opinions, and inputs to the Minister and the ministry’s senior management regarding cultural and arts development programmes. Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing cultural and theatrical activities at Istana Budaya. Oversees the development of physical infrastructure or cultural facilities, such as the construction of State Cultural Parks and Cultural Villages, providing space and opportunities for cultural and arts activists.
Tasks
Supervising creative and technical work during performances.
Ensuring that all production personnel comply with stage regulations.
Ensuring that all technical equipment and creative materials, such as props and costumes, are in good condition for use before each performance.
Supervising production preparation work during rehearsals.
Overseeing the installation of sets, props, and technical equipment during stage preparations.
Supervising the assignments of production and technical staff.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
Ability to provide professional opinions, offer advisory services, and present arguments effectively.
Strong interest in contributing to and successfully delivering arts and performance activities.
