Producer Grade B5 (Stage Manager) responsible for performing duties in PENTARAMA performances professionally, planning, implementing, and preparing reports related to performances in accordance with departmental requirements, as well as managing performance activities, including efficiently and effectively preparing performance formats and scripts, and providing guidance and mentorship to all officers in the Talent and Arts team at the PENTARAMA Branch.

Tasks

Carrying out duties and is accountable to the Grade B7 Drama Director.

Acting as stage manager during performances and ensures that the running order from the Assistant Drama Director Grade B3 is executed.

Managing discussions with the Deputy Drama Director Grade B6, Assistant Drama Director Grade B3, and Set Designer Grade B2, regarding the selection and use of props and stage layout during performances.

Supervising and overseeing the preparation of sets, props, and technical arrangements during pre-performance preparations.

Acting as a consultant on technical matters (lighting, audio systems, smoke machines, and other technical equipment) with technical officers.

Serving as stage manager for individual performances.

Assisting in planning, providing ideas, and preparing concept papers for proposed performances.

Coordinating the requirements for musical instruments and arranges musical equipment during performances.

Identifying safety features for all personnel during the execution of the performance running order.

Receiving and carrying out instructions or tasks as assigned from time to time.
