Photographer Grade B6 responsible for taking photos, editing, preparing captions, and sending photographs of formal and informal activities to Photo Library Unit for reference and retention. Responsible for making film/audio or soundless video coverage, filming a special programme, providing equipment, maintaining the cleanliness of the studio and darkroom as well as ensuring safety of equipment inside and outside the department.

Ability to operate camera equipment and knowledge of studio lighting and backgrounds.

Knowledge of media cataloguing including classification and indexing.
Knowledge of media technology including manual, automatic, analog, and digital systems.
Knowledge of photo printing and types of film.
Knowledge of photography ethics including protocols, etiquette, and dress code.
Knowledge of photography techniques including outdoor and studio photography.
Knowledge of storage management including material storage and store maintenance.
Skills in handling SLR cameras and basic video camera operations.
