Tasks

Operate and maintain shipboard radio communication equipment, including routine checks and troubleshooting.

Monitor distress frequencies and respond to emergency calls.

Keep accurate records of all communications.

Coordinate communication activities with ship crew and maritime authorities.

Ensure compliance with international maritime communication regulations.

Install radio and communication systems and ensure proper functionality.
