Assistant Information Officer Grade S5 responsible for carrying out the activities and objectives of the department, carrying out administrative and financial duties in the district, serving on standing and ad hoc committees in the district, and preparing reports and analyses in relation to current issues.
Tasks
Preparing and implementing the annual operating expenditure.
Acting as the operations officer for activities and programmes at the division, state, and district levels.

Supervising the implementation of programmes, activities, and information dissemination at the district level.

Conducting intelligence, monitoring, and strategic planning regarding public relations, media, and publicity.
Preparing reports on activities, programmes, monitoring, mobilisation, and feedback from stakeholders and target groups.
Collecting feedback, building networks, and preparing reports on current issues at the national, state, and district levels.
Conducting staff training programmes at the division, state, and district levels to meet skills requirements and departmental objectives.
Preparing reports on training, staff monitoring, and human resource needs in accordance with the department’s Training Policy.
