Veterinary Biotech Production Technician produces and maintains veterinary biotechnology products, including vaccines or diagnostic kits, supporting animal health and research. They prepare biological cultures, maintain sterile environments, operate specialised equipments, and assist veterinarians with limited diagnostic, preventive, and curative procedures, ensuring that products meet regulatory and quality standards.

Tasks

Assist in the production of animal health products, including vaccines and biologics.

Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, fermenters, and autoclaves for biotechnology production processes.

Perform sterile preparation procedures and maintain cleanroom and laboratory standards in compliance with biosafety requirements.

Conduct routine quality control tests and record results accurately in accordance with laboratory protocols.

Support research and development activities for new veterinary biotechnology formulations.

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory and quality management requirements.

Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal use and regulatory submission.
