Transport/Logistics Supervisor oversees and coordinates the planning, scheduling, and execution of transportation and logistics activities within an organisation. They manage drivers and logistics staff, monitor vehicle maintenance, optimise routes and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety, legal, and, where applicable, halal standards, liaising with internal departments and external partners to facilitate the timely and effective movement of goods and materials across the supply chain.

Tasks

Plan, schedule, and organise transport and logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.

Supervise and coordinate drivers, transport personnel, and logistics staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Monitor performance of service providers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with operational standards.

Maintain accurate transport, vehicle, and logistics records, and prepare reports for regulatory, certification, and operational purposes.

Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve mechanical or operational issues.

Manage transport and logistics budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures.

Resolve transport and logistics disruptions, delays, and operational issues promptly to minimise impact on services.

Conduct inspections and enforce safety, health, and regulatory compliance across all transport and logistics activities.

Train, coach, and guide staff to maintain performance standards and adherence to operational procedures.
