Aircraft Examiner Grade A5, A6 responsible for monitoring the maintenance of department aircraft serviced by private companies to ensure compliance with established standards, and for utilising the aircraft to conduct inspections of navaids equipment as scheduled (calibration), so that all equipment meets the prescribed international standards (ICAO) and is safe for use by civil aircraft.
Tasks
Conducting full and periodic tests on navaids facilities following installation and repairs.
Performing special tests, calibrations, and supervising navaids equipment in accordance with standards and specifications.
Preparing reports and classifying tested equipment.
Managing the Electronics Laboratory, inventory, and calibration of laboratory test instruments and AFIS.
Maintaining navaids test equipment such as FIS, DGPS, communication radios, MAGGS, and RTT.
Conducting WGS 84/GPS surveys and maintaining related equipment.
Planning monthly calibration programmes, managing, and maintaining calibration records.
Monitoring aircraft maintenance contractor work and ensuring flight safety.
Conducting Pre-Flight and Post-Flight Checks, managing hangarage, as well as handling fuel and lubricants.
Assisting in managing technical operations records, including Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Airworthiness Directives, and Letters to Organisation, and managing aircraft spare parts.

Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Skills in handling computers including software and hardware.
