Tasks

Monitor, adjust, and control panels and processing equipment to regulate temperature, speed, and pressure during metal processing operations.

Operate and monitor furnaces and related equipment for melting, reheating, and casting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Set up, calibrate, and operate rolling mills and guiding mechanisms to achieve required metal shape, thickness, and alignment.

Conduct visual and instrumental inspections of metal products to ensure quality standards and detect defects.

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of processing equipment to ensure operational reliability and minimise downtime.

Record operational data, maintain production logs, and prepare shift reports on processing activities.

Control metal processing operations to maintain production targets and ensure continuous process flow.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in metal processing operations.

Assist in operator training and support process improvement activities to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
