They lead a team of operators and technicians, monitor and optimise the anaerobic digestion process, coordinate maintenance, and ensure the plant operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
Tasks
Manage anaerobic digestion operations, optimise process conditions, and implement improvements to enhance biogas production efficiency.
Supervise plant operators and technicians to ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety protocols.
Monitor biogas production and quality parameters, and analyse operational data for performance evaluation and reporting.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of digesters and associated equipment, ensuring safe handling of organic waste.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Coordinate with external contractors for repairs, maintenance, or plant upgrades.
Operate and monitor control panels to optimise plant processes.
