Chemical Engineering Technician assists chemical engineers in the development, design, and operation of chemical processes across laboratories and industrial plants. They support production and quality control of chemicals, fuels, pharmaceuticals, food products, and other materials by monitoring equipment, conducting tests, collecting data, and troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations while maintaining documentation, optimising processes, and supporting the scale-up of pilot projects to full production.
Tasks

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, operational problems, and process irregularities under supervision.
Maintain, calibrate, and safely store instruments, testing devices, and laboratory equipment.
Prepare, update, and maintain technical reports, logs, documentation, and process records.
