Tasks

Conduct pre-welding checks and prepare materials for welding operations.
Perform supervised Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, or radiographic inspection.
Assist in investigating weld defects and supporting failure analysis under guidance.
Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate welding records.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for welding consumables and equipment.

Basic
Ability to follow instructions and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of basic welding concepts and terminologies.
Specific
Ability to assist in non-destructive testing (ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, radiographic) under supervision.
Ability to set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely.
Basic metallurgical knowledge relevant to welding applications.
Competence in welding inspection, quality control, and testing methods.
