Equipment Technician installs, maintains and repairs machinery, instruments and related systems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation. The role involves conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance and calibration, diagnosing faults, adjusting and testing equipment, and restoring systems in accordance with technical specifications and standards. Equipment Technicians interpret technical drawings and manuals, maintain maintenance and calibration records, and work with engineering and quality personnel to support operational and regulatory requirements across industrial and laboratory settings.

Tasks

Conduct routine maintenance, inspection, and calibration of machinery and equipment to ensure proper performance.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults using appropriate tools and equipment.

Install, configure, and calibrate equipment according to technical specifications.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, calibration activities, and parts usage.

Work with engineers, production, and technical staff to support troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Follow safety regulations, company policies, and calibration standards during all maintenance activities.

Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and calibration instruments to ensure availability.
