Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of CNC machines and equipment.
Measure and inspect finished products using precision instruments to ensure compliance with quality and tolerance standards.
Supervise and coordinate CNC operators and daily machining activities to ensure efficient workflow.
Monitor machine performance and production output, and adjust operations to meet production targets.
Train operators on proper machine operation, safety procedures, and workplace regulations.
Plan and coordinate machine utilisation, maintenance, and repairs to minimise downtime.
Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and machine performance, and coordinate with quality assurance and supply chain teams.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CNC programming and control systems.

Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge.

Competency in adjusting feeds, speeds, and tooling parameters to optimise machining processes.
Competency in diagnosing mechanical faults and performing minor maintenance and technical adjustments on CNC equipment.
Competency in mechanical and electrical knowledge for CNC machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Knowledge in industrial safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Knowledge in quality control, statistical process control, and compliance with ISO 9001 and related manufacturing standards.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software for toolpath and program preparation.
Proficiency in documenting machine operations, maintenance activities, and inspection results accurately.
Proficiency in operating and programming Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines (mills, lathes, grinders) using G-code and M-code.
Proficiency in precision measurement and inspection techniques using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
