Tasks
Install, configure, commission, test, and verify the operation of mechatronic and robotic systems, including automated machinery.
Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machines and robotic systems.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance, as well as emergency repairs, on machinery and robots.
Calibrate sensors, instruments, actuators, and robotic tools to meet operational specifications.
Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Collaborate with engineers to support the design, upgrade, and integration of mechatronic and robotic systems.
Program and configure robots and automated systems, including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and related control software, to optimise performance.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance, repair, testing, and operational activities in logs and reports.
Train operators on correct system use, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety regulations.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
