They perform technical tasks such as troubleshooting mechanical faults, conducting routine inspections, assisting with assembly and repairs, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, combining hands-on engineering support with coordination and reporting to facilitate efficient project execution and equipment operation.
Tasks
Assist engineers in preparing mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Conduct routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, engines, and equipment.
Support the design, fabrication, and installation of mechanical systems and machinery.
Perform basic mechanical calculations and assist in maintenance planning and project testing.
Maintain logs, records, and technical reports for maintenance, inspections, and project activities.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for materials, equipment, and spare parts.
Assist in estimating materials, labour, and costs for mechanical projects and installations.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all operations.
