Tasks
Operate and control the tunnel boring machine (TBM) during excavation.
Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical TBM components.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electronic faults to minimise downtime.
Monitor TBM data systems and adjust operational parameters as required.
Assist engineers and site supervisors in machine movements and excavation activities.
Provide on-the-job guidance to junior technicians and operators on TBM operations and safety procedures.
Assist with assembly, disassembly, and relocation of TBMs at tunnel sites.
Follow occupational health and safety standards, design specifications, and regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance and operational logs.
