Tasks

Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and material lists.

Assist in building and testing prototypes to validate designs.
Coordinate with manufacturing and quality control teams to support the resolution of design-related issues.
Provide design support during prototyping and testing phases.
Stay updated on new design tools, technologies, and engineering best practices.

Knowledge of industry standards including International Organization for Standardization (ISO), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining, injection moulding, and sheet metal fabrication.
Knowledge of material selection and cost estimation.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Pro/ENGINEER.
Proficiency in three-dimensional modelling, rendering, and product lifecycle management (PLM).
