Superintendent of Fire Brigade Grade KB9 dan KB10 responsible for the implementation of general management, administrative, monitoring and regulatory duties of activities involving aspects of operation, enforcement, prevention and fire safety, drawing up and conducting training programs, managing research, planning and development.

Tasks

Monitoring firefighting and rescue operations in accordance with procedures, overseeing special duties under relevant Acts, and prepareing fire risk assessments.

Supervising fire hazard inspections, enforcing closure/prohibition orders, approving fire safety compliance, issuing compounds, conducting investigations, prosecutions, and arrests when delegated by the Director General.

Processing building plans and premises licences, verifying fire safety requirements, and implementing fire prevention campaigns and zero-fire programmes.

Conducting training for officers, personnel, and public and private entities, and planning and reviews Skill Training Subjects at fire stations in accordance with the Training Policy.

Managing the construction of fire stations and staff residences, determining specifications for fire engines and equipment, and plans the deployment of departmental equipment.
