Responsible for national music development and serving as a reference in determining artistic development policies for the country’s music.
Serving as the Principal Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra.
Overseeing music composition and repertoire planning.
Planning the development and growth of the National Symphony Orchestra’s musical arts and serving as an Advisor to the National Youth Symphony Orchestra of Malaysia.
Leading participation in seminars, conferences, and music arts research locally and internationally.
Monitoring music arts activities at Istana Budaya and the Ministry of Unity, Culture, Arts, and Heritage (now Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC))
