Women's Welfare Organizer
Women's Welfare Organizer provides guidance and support to an individual, family, or community facing social and personal challenges. They develop and implement programmes that promote women’s rights, welfare, and empowerment, assist women in vulnerable situations, and help clients access resources to address issues such as unemployment, poverty, disability, addiction, and marital difficulties. They also advocate for gender equality and collaborate with public and private organisations to improve women’s well-being and opportunities.
Tasks
Plan and implement programmes that promote women’s welfare, rights, and empowerment.
Provide support, counselling, and guidance to women facing social and personal challenges or vulnerable situations.
Train women in practical skills to improve access to income-generating opportunities and support their self-reliance.
Visit clients at home, in the community, or in welfare institutions to assess needs and provide appropriate support.
Prepare case assessments, reports, and maintain accurate client and programme records.
Organise community-based welfare activities and encourage community participation in support programmes.
Coordinate outreach activities and collaborate with non-governmental organisations (NGOs), government agencies, and other relevant organisations.
Manage programme resources to support service delivery effectively.
